The start of country music began in the year 1920, started by the Appalachian fiddle makers. It wasn’t until the early 20’s that country music actually became popular.

Jimmy Rogers is still known in today’s society as “The father of country music”.

His first hit song “Yodel#1” was said to be a first-million hit single in 1927

In 1933 Rogers died due to complications of tuberculous, but he was inducted to the country hall of fame in 1961

Throughout the years of country music, its developed a a lot since the 1920's.

Did you know that country music didn’t become really popular until the late 80's?

Most country artist’s didn’t start debuting until 1989, which is the year Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Clint Black etc.… released there first hit single’s.

The same artist’s were actually the main reason why Country music became so popular, they inspired many artist’s today to start making their own music, and why so many young kids love country music today

“The amazing class of 89” then bridged the gap to the 20th and 21st century making records and the popularity increase by millions…

In today’s charts country music is the third most liked genre of music, thanks to the 80’s many people of the younger generation love country music. Many artists like Kacey Musgraves, Sam Hunt and Maren Morris were music producers who broke free out of the said ”comfort zone” and became really popular country artists in the 21st century…
