This post is not only going to address our younger generation but also our older ones. But no matter how old we get rock and roll will always be apart of our lives. So first lets start talking about the king of rock and roll himself Elvis Presley.

So why did Elvis Presley become the “ king of rock and roll”. Rock and roll first became really popular in the 1950’s Elvis Presley was first referred to as “country” before becoming popular in 1956 after appearing on national television which attracted even more crowds. After an appearance by a reporter in Oklahoma city he was officially labeled as “the king of rock and roll”

Rock and roll music started in the 1950’s which first started with the blues, country, and gospel. This genre was very admired by everyone especially teens, Rock and roll even broke up segregation between black R&B music charts and predominantly white artists on the Pop charts.

Rock And Roll Today( imagine Dragons)

Even through the past century rock and roll music is still in the top charts even though it has developed so much. Even teens today are enjoying rock and roll music. Olathe West High School is even doing a production Of We Will Rock You by Queens. This just shows that even through century's Rock And Roll will live on hopefully forever and continue to develop. Like they always say “Long Live Rock And Roll”
